Here’s another spoon to commemorate Queen Elizabeth’s reign: The QEII Sheffield Silver Jubilee Sugar Spoon, made in 1977 for her 25th anniversary as Queen of England and the Commonwealth.
Although she officially ascended the throne on February 6, 1952, Elizabeth officially became Queen Elizabeth II during her coronation on June 2, 1953. Happy 64th Anniversary to the reigning monarch of The Commonwealth! This is one of many coronation spoons I own for some inexplicable reason. My mother-in-law is losing her ever-loving sh*t right now.
